OUR STORY
Murtimurti Group was founded in 2023, and is a proud locally owned Pilbara business specialising in waste management and water services, with additional capabilities in building maintenance.
MurtiMurti Group is passionate not just about the traditional Yaburara lands of the Burrup Peninsula, from Dampier to Murujuga National Park, but also the wider Pilbara, with close ties to many of the Pilbara’s local communities.
Our mission at MurtiMurti Group is to conserve our home for future generations, so they too can enjoy it’s rugged beauty and add to the rich history of the Pilbara.
OUR CONNECTION TO COUNTRY
As a proud Yaburara owned business, our connection to
country lies on the traditional lands of the Yaburara
people, the Burrup Peninsula. An economic hub for
Australia’s iron ore, oil and gas industries.
It’s also home to Murujuga National Park, the site of one of the world’s largest and oldest rock art gallery’s.
In the Yaburara language, Murujuga means “hip-bone sticking out”, a reference to the Peninsula’s unique geography.

MurtiMurti Group takes its name from the local
Yindjibarndi word for Kingfisher - fast and efficient.
We prioritise Indigenous employment, local suppliers,
and - just like the bird - the swift delivery of project
outcomes.
